AMCS Corporation, a New Jersey based international supplier of industrial gases and process plants, announced the successful commissioning of a new 250-tons per day Nitrogen Liquefaction Unit (ULTRA-L-250™) in Salerno, Italy for its client, SOL S.p.A. a leading European gas company. The Salerno ULTRA-L-250™ successfully went on stream by the end of 2012.

AMCS to provide ULTRA O-60™ Plant to Cristal Pigment Australia Ltd (Cristal), in Western Australia

AMCS Corporation has entered into a contract to supply a customized ULTRA O-60™ Air Separation Unit (ASU) to Cristal Pigment Australia, Ltd. in Bunbury, Western Australia. The plant is designed to the current state-of-the-art in oxygen plant technology with superior performance, high levels of automation, and flexible operation. The ASU is designed to supply gaseous oxygen (GOX) for Cristal’s TiO2 facility.

AMCS Corporation, an international supplier of industrial gases and process plants and equipment, has entered into an agreement with Strandmøllen A/S, a leading Scandinavian industrial gas supplier, to provide a fully customized ULTRA-AL™ merchant Air Separation Plant (ASU). The ULTRA-AL™ ASU is current state-of-the-art in cryogenic plant technology with superior performance, high levels of automation, and flexible operation.  The plant will provide liquid oxygen, liquid nitrogen, and liquid argon products along with low-pressure gaseous nitrogen. The ULTRA-AL™ plant design is highly packaged, significantly reducing field erection and installation time and costs.

AMCS Corporation, an international supplier of industrial gases and process plants and equipment, recently marked the official opening of the new air separation plant (ASU) in Poland supplied to ANWIL SA, a leading chemical company and member of the ORLEN group of companies. The official ceremony was held nearly a year after the plant first went on-stream ahead of schedule, in November 2010.

Auxilium Green, LLC Develops a Novel Catalyst for Fuel-grade Ethanol Production

Bedminster, New Jersey, July 6, 2011

Auxilium Green, LLC, a Pennsylvania based renewable energy company, has successfully developed a novel and highly efficient catalyst for the conversion of nonfood feedstock to high value biofuels. The performance of the supported non precious metal catalyst is superior in terms of alcohols productivity to most results reported in the literature under identical process conditions. The catalyst has been demonstrated in laboratory testing to be stable for over 500 hours with no loss in catalyst selectivity for alcohols. The catalyst performance exceeds the 2010 target performance set by NREL in terms of alcohols productivity and catalyst lifetime.

AMCS Corporation to Supply an ULTRA-AL-100 Air Separation Unit in Southern Europe

AMCS Corporation, an international supplier of industrial gases and process plants, has entered into an agreement with a major regional gases company in Southern Europe for the supply of a cryogenic Air Separation Unit (ASU).  The ASU will have a nominal liquefaction capacity of 100 tons per day, supplying Liquid Oxygen (LOX) and Liquid Nitrogen (LIN) to the local merchant liquid market.

AMCS Corporation announces commissioning of ULTRA-L-250™ for SOL Group in Southern Italy

AMCS Attending College Job Fairs

Rowan University and Stevens Institute of Technology

AMCS recently attended the Rowan University Spring 2013 Career and Graduate School Fair on the campus of Rowan University. Representatives from AMCS will also be attending the upcoming Career Day at Stevens Institute of Technology on March 6, 2013, from 1 to 4 on the Castle Point Campus. The event is open to both undergraduate and graduate students, as well as recent alumni interested in pursuing internships and challenging careers in engineering and the sciences.

Tips

If you need more than 100 mtpd oxygen, consider having an argon recovery unit for this size plant. The cost of argon continues to rise and there is a shortage in Argon supply market.
